2024 Backyard Marchback

On August 10th, members of our society were able to assemble for our the 4th Annual WPS of Washington, Backyard March Back. This "Do it Yourself" event was a powerful way to commemorate the milestone of the West Point Class of 2028, echoing the traditional march back that concludes "Beast Barracks." It was more than just a walk—it was a chance to honor traditions, build camaraderie, and create lasting memories. While it thankfully didn't bring the terror of upper-class Cadets' roars, it may have brought back the blisters!

We started at Point Ruston at the Hip Hop Statue  and proceeded ~4.8 miles to Point Defiance and back with a total elevation change of about 275 feet.

Many thanks to all of those who joined us for this year’s marchback, and congratulations again to the Class of 2028! We couldn’t be more proud to welcome our newest class to USMA and look forward to seeing all that you’ll accomplish as members of the Long Gray Line.
